The course will impart attendees with an in-depth approach to
writing a legally satisfactory, comprehensive and effective report,
taking into account the law of evidence, statutory
elements and rules of police procedure, as well as providing the
tools to become a valuable witness in the courtroom.
Seminar instructor, James J. Gerrow, Jr., is a highly respected
member of the legal community and has been a certified instructor
at the Burlington County Police Academy for more than 30 years.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Gerrow served in the Burlington County
Prosecutor’s Office for 25 years. He has also been a litigator
in private practice with a primary focus on criminal defense. During
this time, Mr. Gerrow additionally served as Prosecutor for various
municipalities, so he is able to draw on his vast experience from
both sides of the litigation fence. Mr. Gerrow’s honors include
receiving the Professional Lawyer of the Year.
