Created and presented by Larry E. Holtz, Esq.,
this two-day, highly-acclaimed program will provide a review and
update on the recent developments and changes in the laws of arrest,
investigative detentions (with a special focus on "stop &
frisk" and motor vehicle stops), search warrants, and the exceptions
to the written warrant requirement.
Recommended for
The seminar will focus on the court decisions
which have been recently handed down by the United States Supreme
Court, the New Jersey Supreme Court, and the various panels of the
Appellate Division.
Whether you are preparing for court or for a promotional exam, you’ll find this course, without question, one of the most important parts of your preparation.
In addition to providing a comprehensive update
of new material, the seminar will simultaneously serve as a comprehensive
refresher for those persons who have not had an opportunity to attend
an arrest, search and seizure review and update for a number of
years. All attendees will receive a comprehensive written manual containing all of the materials covered. For New Jersey attorneys, this program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 13.6 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 13.6 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in criminal trial law.
*Successful completion of this course is approved for 1 college credit through Thomas Edison State College.
