Mr. Holtz provides an extraordinarily valuable update
and review of the new and amended laws that have changed Title 2C
(the Criminal Justice Code), Title 39 (the Motor Vehicle and Traffic
Code), and have impacted procedures related to the questioning of
suspects. In addition, the newest Attorney General Guidelines and
Directives are presented and explained in easily understandable
terms.
Whether you are preparing for court or for a promotional exam, you’ll find this course, without question, one of the most important parts of your preparation. In addition to providing a comprehensive update of new material, the seminar will simultaneously serve as a refresher for those persons who have not attended a statutory or confession law update for a number of years.
Each attendee will receive a comprehensive
written manual containing the new and amended sections
of the statutes, along with the new case law interpretations of
pertinent code provisions, and confession law procedures. For New Jersey attorneys, this program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 13.6 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 13.6 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in criminal trial law.
*Successful completion of this course is approved for 1 college credit through Thomas Edison State College.
