Under New Jersey's new “Security Officer Registration Act” (SORA), and related regulations, all current and prospective security officers (guards) must attend a 24-hour education and training course taught by certified security officer instructors. This three-day course will provide you with the mandated education and training to become a Certified NJ Security Officer. In addition to receiving all of the mandated blocks of instruction, all security officials will additionally qualify for the American Heart Association’s Certification in CPR and Heartsaver AED. All students will be fully prepared to take, and successfully complete, the mandated certification exam, as required by SORA. All attendees will receive, at no additional cost, a comprehensive written manual containing all of the required subjects, a concise presentation of the relevant State laws and guidelines impacting the security environment in New Jersey, plus an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED manual and CD.
